COVID-19: Chaplis’s World by Grévin will reopen on 13 june 2020

Corsier-sur-Vevey, 8 May 2020 – For its reopening, on Saturday 13 June 2020 at 10 a.m., the museum will implement the preventive sanitary measures required by law. The pop-up exhibition “The Sound of Charlie Chaplin,” which was designed and produced by Musée de la Musique-Philharmonie de Paris, and had to close the day after it opened to the public, has been extended until 30 September.

The preventive measures prescribed by the Swiss Federal Council can be implemented in ideal conditions at the Chaplin’s World museum and its magnificent ten-acre park. Chaplin’s World can also rely on the precious advice of its parent company, Compagnie des Alpes, a leader in the European leisure sector, which manages amusement and theme parks as well as the major ski resorts in the French Alps. From the reception area to the museum shop, the visitor itinerary has been reorganised to optimize visitor flow. The museum staff have been trained in social distancing and preventive measures, and the sanitary facilities essential to safeguarding the health of visitors are available throughout the itinerary. The museum management has done its utmost to ensure that visitors to Chaplin’s World continue to enjoy an entertaining and unforgettable experience.

The pop-up exhibition “The Sound of Charlie Chaplin,” which had to close the day after it opened to the public, has been extended until 30 September 2020. Visitors will be able to rediscover Charlie Chaplin’s fascinating musical and rhythmic work through interactive resources and an immersive audio-visual experience.
The exhibition, designed and produced by Musée de la Musique-Philharmonie de Paris and Sam Stourdzé, director of the Rencontres d’Arles photography festival and former director of the Musée de l’Elysée, promises to be a memorable event.
