Chaplin’s World: 2022, A Year Dedicated to Childhood

CHAPLIN’S WORLD PRESENTS ITS 2022 CULTURAL PROGRAMME DEDICATED TO CHILDHOOD

After a year dedicated to music in 2020, then a tribute year to the film The Great Dictator, on the occasion of the film’s 80th anniversary last year, Chaplin’s World is delighted to place 2022 under the theme of childhood by giving pride of place to one of Chaplin’s most touching and autobiographical films:  The Kid. This century-old film is the artist’s first feature film and already his first masterpiece, a masterpiece that beautifully mixes comedy and emotion.

This year’s programme at Chaplin’s World will take place in two highlights that you can discover in our press kit:a temporary exhibition: dedicated to the film The Kid presents Charlie’s childhood and explore the life of what it can means to be a child startwo weeks dedicated to circus: an art that had a special place in Chaplin’s heart; As such, Chaplin’s World will set up a circus tent for two weeks during the Easter holidays for daily performances, inspired by The Kid.
