TRAVELING OUT OF BRADLEY THIS HOLIDAY SEASON? HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

As the world is getting ready to travel again, you might be preparing for your next trip. To help you navigate your travel plans, we’ve put together some travel tips specific to your journey through Bradley International Airport. Here’s what you need to know:

ADDED SAFETY MEASURES

Your safety – and that of our entire Bradley Airport community – is a top priority. While you have been away, we have worked hard on implementing a robust, enhanced safety program to help protect you and our colleagues. This program includes a face covering requirement (for all passengers, employees and visitors), added cleaning protocols, physical distancing reminders, plexiglass shield barriers, and more.

ON-SITE COVID-19 TESTING

Bradley Airport now has two COVID-19 testing sites. Passengers can take a PCR COVID-19 test in the airport’s baggage claim with Genesys Diagnostics or at a Hartford HealthCare drive-through location in the airport’s Parking Lot 3.

Testing inside the terminal is only for ticketed passengers (and employees). The mobile site is open to passengers as well as the public.

CONVENIENT PARKING

Skip the shuttle, and park in our garage, only a short walking distance away from the terminal.

We have temporarily consolidated all parking, with garage parking available for $8 per day.

Contactless entry and exit is also available to members of the frequent parker program. There is no cost to join the program.

NEW TSA PROCEDURES

In summary, if you are traveling, place your boarding pass (paper or electronic) on the boarding pass reader, separate food for X-ray screening, pack smart (ensure that you do not have any prohibited items), remove hand sanitizer from your carry-on bag, and practice physical distancing.

For more information about all of the new TSA safety measures in response to COVID-19, please visit https://www.tsa.gov/coronavirus.

DINING + SHOPPING OPTIONS

To ensure everyone’s well-being, we have modified the operations of our dining and shopping options. All open concessions are operating with new physical distancing measures and cleaning protocols in place.
